Spread the Message of Reading to Infants and Toddlers

The Importance of Early Literacy

Young children hear their parents and caretakers say a lot of words every day and it adds up. Research shows that when parents read to their children, children  develop a love of books that later builds strong reading skills.  What’s the connection? The more words children hear and understand,  their vocabulary skills increase. Children whose parents talk to them frequently hear about 45 million  words in the first four years, in families that don’t talk as much  children heard 13 million words.

Spring Brings Summer

This  beautifully illustrated book has warm and lighthearted prose that fill  the pages with imagery of the seasons. Pink nail polish and ice cream  cones bring back memories of childhood. -L and A

Our son loves this book! He loves the vibrant colors and the cute story-line. At bedtime this is one of his absolute favorites 😍 -Bex Dabra

Lenny the Lizard and His Green Scarf

A  unique and quirky book about spreading warm wishes when your friends  are feeling down. I got caught up in the delicate watercolor  illustrations and loved the way the saturated colors blended into each  other. -mrduck04
